Hi, I’m Carley — Founder of Whispering Haven Design & Project Consultants
Whispering Haven Design & Project Consultants was built from a combination of professional experience, education, and a genuine understanding of what it takes to bring a project from an idea to completion.
My background includes almost 20 years of experience in property assessment, project coordination, leadership, client services, and working within complex municipal and regulatory environments. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong ability to manage details, coordinate multiple priorities, communicate with stakeholders, and bring structure to projects that can otherwise feel very overwhelming.
My education brings together both the business and creative sides of the industry. I hold diplomas in Business Administration and Property Assessment through Seneca College and the University of British Columbia. An Interior Design diploma, along with a Project Management Certificate from McMaster University. This combination allows me to approach projects from more than just a design perspective—I consider functionality, budgets, timelines, permits, construction requirements, communication, and the overall client experience.
Beyond my professional background, I also bring real-life experience with renovations, construction, design, and the realities of working with contractors and trades. I understand that a beautiful design is only one piece of a successful project. The planning, organization, decision-making, communication, and follow-through behind the scenes are just as important.
That’s why I created Whispering Haven.
Whether I’m helping a homeowner navigate a renovation or new build, or supporting a builder, contractor, or interior designer with project management, permits, design, or business operations, my goal is the same: to make the process more organized, less overwhelming, and easier to move forward with confidence.
